Maybe I'll come back

So maybe it's time to revive this again.  I have been eating pretty healthy with the exception of maybe 2 non healthy meals a week.  I'll be out of town this coming weekend, so that will definitely be one big cheat week.  Anyways......it's BACKCKKKKKK!

Ricky Report #9: Ra Ra Ah Ah Ahh Ahh

All is not lost with this blog! I'm back on the ball and more so than ever.

But new plan. Lift heavy. Lift heavy. Lift heavy.

I'm doing the same amount of sets, but now with heavier weights and less reps. I want to pack on the mass.

I'm also doing more abs. Ab work generally hurts my lower back, but I found today that doing crunches on a gym ball helps a lot. Also lower ab work on the Ab Coaster is pretty effective.

I still need to find a form of cardio that I enjoy. That's key.

I'm also watching what I eat. I allow myself a small cheat each day so that it doesn't feel like dieting. I'm enjoying some salad variations from my cafeteria and restaurants around work.


I'm determined!

Break

I'm going to stop posting for a while.  I don't have the time for this at the moment, and need to start counting calories if I want to loose fat and not worry about eating carbs like rice and oatmeal.  Plus the brain uses carbs, so if I don't eat them I'll get even more stupid than I currently am.

Ricky Report #8: Hiatus

The next few days will be cheat days. That is all.

I'll try to keep them relatively healthier than straight up cheats and I'll try to toss in some exercise in there somewhere, but with my brother and his wife in town, all bets are off.

Ricky Report #7: Going Good

I'm not going to write a big thing or outline exactly what I ate, but know I've been doing very well.

Breakfasts consist of the two fried eggs with salsa. Lunch for the past two days has been a salad with carrots, corn, tomatoes, olives, cucumbers, craisins, balsamic vinegar. I've had maybe a cookie or cake, but in conscious moderation. Dinners have been high in protein tofu or I don't remember.

And the last two days I've worked out. My muscles haven't been this sore in a very long time. Shoulders and back with some Ab Coaster crunches and cardio.
